School Readiness group
Our School Readiness Holiday Group is designed to help little learners feel confident, capable, and excited as they take their next big step into kindergarten. Across fun, play-based sessions, our OTs support children to build the foundational skills they need for a smoother transition into school — including attention, early literacy and numeracy foundations, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, social connection, and independence in classroom routines.
Before the group begins, each child completes a brief school readiness screener. This helps us tailor the program to their unique strengths and support needs, ensuring every activity is meaningful, achievable, and just-right for their developmental stage.

Tuesday, 7th April at 12:30pm - 1:30pm \\ Wednesday, 8th April at 12:30pm - 1:30pm \\ Tuesday, 14th April at 1:30pm - 2:30pm \\ Wednesday, 15th April at 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Handwriting Group
Handwriting Heroes – a 10-week adventure in confidence, coordination, and creative expression.
Our Term 1 Handwriting Heroes program is designed to help children strengthen the foundational skills behind clear, confident handwriting — all through playful, hands-on learning. Across 10 fun-filled weeks, kids will explore fine motor skills, pencil control, letter formation, visual-motor integration, hand strength, and posture… but in true Little Village style, it never feels like work.
Through obstacle courses, craft, games, sensory play, and bite-sized handwriting challenges, children practise the skills their brains and bodies need to write with ease. Along the way, they’ll build resilience, focus, confidence, and pride in their growing abilities.
Perfect for children who:
• find handwriting tricky
• tire easily during writing tasks
• struggle with letter sizing, spacing, or legibility
• benefit from fun, structured small-group learning
In our village, every child can become a Handwriting Hero — they just need the right tools, support, and a joyful place to practise.
