Theraputty is a fun, stretchy, squishy tool used in occupational therapy to help children build hand strength, finger control, and fine motor skills needed for everyday tasks like writing, cutting, dressing, and using tools. It provides proprioceptive (deep pressure) input, which can also support regulation, focus, and calming for little nervous systems.
Kids can pinch it, pull it, roll it, hide objects inside it, and shape it — all while developing the muscles and coordination needed for confident participation at home, school, and play.
